DIED
NEEMEYER--John Fred Neemeyer, aged 76 years, died at his home, eleven miles north of Columbus, Tuesday, October 11, of Bright's disease, after an illness of six months. Mr. Neemeyer, was born in Germany, August 22, 1834. He was married before emigrating to America in March, 1881, when he came direct to Platte county and settled on the farm, which has been his home since. Ten children, seven daughters and three sons all of them with one exception, living in this locality, survive him, Mrs. Deyke, Mrs. Holst, Mrs. J.H. Wilke, Mrs. Carl Mueller, Mrs. Fred Brunken of Lincoln, Mrs. Carl Hellbush, Mrs. August Fittje, and Henry, George and Wm. Neemeyer. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 1 p.m., from the home and 2:30 from the Oldenbush Lutheran church, being conducted by the pastor, Rev. E. Holm. [ColfaxDeutschlandPlatte.FBK.FTW]
