Norbert W. Grotelueschen, 6-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Grotelueschen, died Sunday in a hospital in Rochester, Minn.
Death was due to tumor of the brain, with which he had been suffering for the past six weeks. He had been at the hospital in Rochester for the past week and underwent an operation there Saturday, but was unable to rally.
Mr. and Mrs. Grotelueschen, who were with their son at Rochester, accompanied the body to Columbus on Union Pacific train No. 17 this afternoon. The body will be taken to the family home 15 miles north of the city and the funeral arrangements will be announced later.
Norbert was enrolled as a pupil at St. John's Lutheran parochial school this fall and attended classes regularly until he became ill.
He is survived by his parents, two brothers and one sister. He is a grandson of Supervisor and Mrs. William Grotelueschen of the Creston neighborhood, and Mr. and Mrs. Fred H. Mueller, of Columbus.
The funeral services will be held Wednesday. Brief services will be held at the family home at 1 o'clock to be followed by services at St. John's Lutheran church at 1:30 p.m. Rev. Holm, pastor of the church, will conduct the services. [ColfaxDeutschlandPlatte.FBK.FTW]
