      From THE COLUMBUS (NE.) TELEGRAM, February 2, 2002-

      Olga P. Michaelsen, 94, of Columbus, Nebraska died Tuesday, January 29, 2002
      at Mory's Haven in Columbus. The funeral service will be Saturday, February
      2, 2002, 10:30 A.M. at Christ Lutheran Church in rural Columbus with Rev.
      John E. Nelson Jr. officiating. Interment will be at the Christ Lutheran
      Cemetery. Visitation will be on Saturday from 8:30 - 10:30 A.M. at the
      church with a family prayer service at 10:15 A.M.. Memorials may be made to
      the Borneman-Buchholz Scholarship Fund.

      Olga P. Michaelsen was born February 16, 1907 in Leigh, Nebraska to Edward
      and Lucy (Bakenhus) Michaelsen. Olga grew up on a farm 8 miles south of
      Leigh and attended District 46 school in Colfax County and also Christ
      Lutheran School where she was confirmed in 1921.

      In 1947 she moved to Columbus and began working at Levine Brothers as a seamstress.
      She continued working in Columbus until she moved to Cheyenne, WY in 1965. While in
      Cheyenne, she continued to do seamstress work and she also was an active
      member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church. Olga returned to Columbus in 1995 and
      moved into Prairie Village Retirement Center. Olga enjoyed playing cards and
      watching soap operas. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church.
