Funeral services were held for Mr. August Barjenbruch, 76, a well known resident of the Leigh community.
The son of the late Henry and Catherine Wilke Barjenbruch was born on September 23, 1874.
On May 7th, 1903 he married Amalia Kreye at Christ Lutheran church and they established their home on the farm where he was born.
Mr. Barjenbruch is survived by his wife, one son, Otto, who farms the home place; five daughters, Ida, Olga, Clara and Alvine of Leigh and Mrs. Walter Morlok of Los Angeles, California; five grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Adolf Asche of Leigh. [ColfaxDeutschlandPlatte.FBK.FTW]
