  _P_CCINFO 2-14330 From The COLUMBUS (NE.) JOURNAL, May 11, 1887- BACKENHUS--Herman Backenhus and family have been very seriously afflicted. In one week he lost by death, from measles and croup, three children, Henry, aged thirteen; Eleanor, six; and Lizzie, three. Two others, the oldest and youngest, are also very sick children, at the time we write this paragraph, May 5th.
