      From THE COLUMBUS (NE.) TELEGRAM, February 22, 1983-

      Services for Helena (Mrs. Henry) Groteluschen, 80, of 2707 27th St., are 2 p.m. Thursday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in rural Leigh. Rev. Nathan Houfek will officiate. A family prayer service at 1:45 p.m.
      Burial is in the parish cemetery. Visitation is after 2 p.m. Wednesday at Gass-Haney Funeral Home and from 1 p.m. until the time of the service Thursday at the church.

      Mrs. Groteluschen was born Dec. 25, 1902 in Oldenburg (Bissel) Germany, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Heinrich Cohrs. She married Henry A. Groteluschen on Sept. 2, 1927 in Grossenkneten, Germany, and came to the United States after her marriage. Mr. and Mrs. Groteluschen settled in the Leigh community, remaining there until 1967 when they moved to Columbus.

      Mrs. Groteluschen was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in rural Leigh and the Ladies Aid.

      She died Monday morning at her home.

      Surviving are her husband; two daughters, Lorraine (Mrs. Leonard) Vacha of Clarkson and Luella Daniels of Columbus; two sons, Carl of Leigh and Henry of Columbus; 16 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a half sister, Martha, and a half brother, Otto, both of Germany.

      She was preceded in death by a sister, a grandchild, a great-grandchild and a half-brother.

      The family suggests memorials to the St. Paul's Lutheran Church Memorial Fund.
