From THE COLUMBUS (NE.) TELEGRAM, March 9, 2009-
COEUR de ALENE, Idaho -- Sara Reichmuth, 49, of Coeur de Alene, Idaho, died Monday, March 2, 2009, in Idaho following a battle with cancer.
Mass of Christian burial will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Marys Catholic Church in Leigh. Burial will be in St. Marys Catholic Cemetery in Leigh. Lunch will be served at the church.
Visitation will be 5-7:30 p.m. at St. Marys Catholic Church.
Sara was born Nov. 8, 1959, in Columbus to Richard and Lorie (Hollatz) Reichmuth. After graduating from Leigh High School, she attended the University of Nebraska in Lincoln where she received her masters degree in speech pathology. Sara was a professor at Arkansas State University for a time, but spent most of her time working as a speech pathologist in many schools throughout the nation including Clay Center, Harvard, Howells and the Mitchell/Scottsbluff area in Nebraska as well as two years in Yampa, Colo., and the surrounding area. She then moved to Coeur de Alene where she planned on starting her own practice. She was baptized and received her first communion as well as confirmation at St. Marys Catholic Church in Leigh.
Sara is survived by her parents, Richard and Lorie Reichmuth of Leigh; one sister, Julie Degner of Fort Collins, Colo.; four brothers, Jeff (Geri) Reichmuth of Broomfield, Colo., Tim, Tom and his wife Lisa, and Pete Reichmuth, all of Leigh; and many nieces and nephews.
