SCHUYLER--Mrs. Annie Grotelueschen, formerly of Richland, died Tuesday at Dukes Manor, Central City, after a linger illness. She was 9
Funeral services are set for 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, northwest of Schuyler, with Rev. Robert Pierce officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery near Richland.
Body will lie in state at Kucera-Rozanek Funeral Chapel after 10 a.m. Friday, and a prayer service will be held there at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
Daughter of the late Adam and Mary Ourada, she was born Feb. 2, 1874 in Czechoslovakia.
She was married to Charlie Grotelueschen March 29, 1892 and they farmed northwest of Schuyler. He died in 1945.
She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Jerry (Mary) Faltys of Sherwood, Ore., and Mrs. Lawrence (Mabel) Fletcher of Springfield, Ore.; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Sorensen of Omaha and Mrs. Rosa Voss of Chicago; 13 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren. Ten children preceded her in death.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, Donald, Harold, Robert and Melvin Grotelueschen, Monty Mylander and Jerry C. Faltys. [ColfaxDeutschlandPlatte.FBK.FTW]
