      Katherine A. Grotelueschen, 74, of Schuyler, died Wednesday in Schuyler Memorial Hospital after a year-long illness.

      Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Trinity Lutheran Church, Schuyler, with the Rev. Robert J. Pierce officiating. Burial will be in Fullerton Cemetery.

      Visitation will be after 9 a.m. Friday with a prayer service at 7:30 in the Kucera-Rozanek Funreal Chapel, Schuyler.

      Mrs. Grotelueschen was born Jan. 5, 1906 in Schuyler, daughter of the late Casper and Emma Runge Kehrli. She was married to the late Elmer Grotelueschen Feb. 2, 1927 in Columbus. She attended rural Schuyler schools and lived her entire life in the Schuyler area.

      She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Alvin (Phyllis) Hoy of North Bend and Mrs. Carl (Shirley) Knapp of Thorton, Colo.; three sons, Donald Grotelueschen of Columbus and Larry and Terry Grotelueschen of Longmont, Col

      She is also survived by one brother, Otto Kehrli of Schuyler; one sister, Mrs. Lewis (Emma) Abraham of Schuyler; 18 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. [ColfaxDeutschlandPlatte.FBK.FTW]
