Alva (Mrs. Otto) Lutjelusche, 76, Route 1, Columbus, died Monday, Jan. 1, 1990, at her home.
Funeral services are 2 p.m. Thursday at Immanuel Lutheran Church with the Revs. Charles Gierke, Roland Jank and Michael Reiners officiating. There will be a 1:45 p.m. prayer service. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be 2-9 p.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. until noon Thursday at Gass-Haney Funeral Home and 1-2 p.m. Thursday at the church.
Mrs. Lutjelusche was born Dec. 18, 1914, in Colfax County, south of Leigh, the daughter of Adolph and Pauline (Loseke) Marty. She attended Platte County District 15 and Christ Lutheran School. She married L. Otto Lutjelusche June 30, 1942, at Christ Lutheran Church. She lived her entire life in the Columbus-Leigh area. She was a former employee of Anderson Floral. Mrs. Lutjelusche was a member of the 20th century club and Immanuel Lutheran Church.
Surviving are her husband of Columbus; four children, Vera (Mrs. Gayle) Cromwell of Genoa, Reuben of Engle-wood, Colo., Nila (Mrs. Richard) Brand and Karen Carey, both of Omaha; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Raymond Marty of Columbus and Lloyd Marty of Kearney; three sisters, Vernell Schroeter and Helen Hoessel, both of Columbus and Vera Herrman of Omah
She was preceded in death by one sister, Delores Zoucha and three infant brothers.
