      From THE COLUMBUS (NE.) TELEGRAM, February 14, 2003-

      LEIGH - Margaret Hall, 88, of Leigh, died Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2003, at
      Merrick Manor Nursing Home in Fremont.

      Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Leigh with
      the Rev. Mel Wiese officiating. Burial will be at St. Mary's Catholic
      Cemetery in Leigh.

      Visitation will be 9-10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church. There is no
      visitation today.

      Mrs. Hall was born April 15, 1914, at Leigh to Edward and Katheryn (Thalken)
      Bausch. She graduated from Leigh High School in 1932. She married Oscar C.
      "Mike" Hall on Dec. 17, 1945, at Leigh. She lived her entire life in the
      Leigh area. She worked as a nurse for Dr. Cooper. She worked at the Leigh
      Bakery, Leigh Meat Market, and at Flossie's Cafe, and Bausch Motors in Leigh.

      She was a member of the church, the Altar Society, St. Mary's Quilters and a
      28-year member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

      Survivors include one nephew, Philip Bausch of Lincoln; six nieces, Veronica
      Kauk of Hoxie Kan., Janice Recek and Christina Dupsky, both of Fremont,
      Deanna Bausch of Springfield, Judie Nordhues of Bartelsville, Okla., and
      Patti Tavener of Omaha.

      She was preceded in death by her husband on March 1, 1983; and two brothers,
      Herman Bausch and Harold Bausch.

      Memorials may be directed to St. Mary's Catholic Church.
