CLARKSON - Olga T. (Mrs. Oswald) Engelbart, 94, of Clarkson, formerly of the Leigh area, died Saturday, Feb. 25, 2006, at the Alegent Health Memorial Hospital in Schuyler.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday at Gass Haney Funeral Home in Columbus, with the Rev. Guy Engelbart officiating. Burial is at Roselawn Memorial Cemetery in Columbus.

Visitation is from 7-9 p.m. Sunday and from 1-2 p.m. Monday, all at the funeral home.

Mrs. Engelbart was born Nov. 23, 1911, near Schuyler, to George and Theresia (Distler) Loseke. She attended district school in rural Schuyler. Olga was the youngest of eight children and the longest lived of all her siblings.

Olga married Oswald Engelbart on Sept. 22, 1936, in Madison. In March of 1942, they moved to a farm west of Leigh, where she would reside for 62 years. After breaking her hip, she spent her last 17 months at the Colonial Manor in Clarkson.
