OBITUARY FOR ANNA HAKE, Source Unknown-
Anna Kunnemann,100, of Hammond, passed away Thursday,
December 22, 1994 at Munster Med-Inn, Munster, Indiana.
She is survived by six children: Orville Kunnemann, Glenola
Kunnemann and Alden (Beth) Kunnemann, all of Hammond,
Melvin (Marge) Kunnemann of Wilmington, N.C., Arlo (Elva)
Kunnemann of Highland, Indiana and Dorothy (Arnold) Jones
of Lafayette, Indiana; nine grandchildren: Mark (Randi)
Kunnemann, Douglas (Becky) Kunnemann, Frank Kunnemann,
Shirley Huseman, Marjorie (Michael) McGlynchey, Deborah
(Scott) Sims, Cynthia (James) Taylor, Darrel (Carol) Jones
and Elaine (Daniel) Frickey; 19 great grandchildren and three
great great grandchildren; three sisters, Hulda Kuppinger of
Hammond, Minnie Buckalew of Colorado and Alma Kamper of
Nebraska; one brother, Henry (Ethel) Hake of Highland,
Indiana; numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her husband, Walter in 1960 and one great
granddaughter, Jennifer Sims in 1981. Funeral services will be held
Tuesday, December 27, 1994, 11 a.m. from St. John Lutheran Church,
606 - 141st St., Hammond with Dr. Bassam Abdallah and
Vickar Paul Stolz officiating. Burial at Concordia Cemetery,
Hammond. Friends may call at LaHayne Funeral Home,
DALTON CHAPEL, 6955 Southeastern Ave., Hammond, on
Monday 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mrs. Kunnemann will be taken
to church Tuesday morning for viewing from 10 a.m. until
time of services. Memorials may be given to St. John Lutheran
Church Hammond or the Lutheran Hour.
Mrs. Kunnemann was a resident of Hammond for 52 years;
member of St. John Lutheran Church of Hammond; past
president of the Ladies Aid; former Sunday School Teacher
