LONGMONT, Colo. - Darlene M. Grotelueschen, 64, of Longmont, Colo., died Tuesday, June 17, 2003, at the Longmont United Hospital.
Memorial services are 10:30 a.m. Friday at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Longmont with the Rev. Paul Ziegler officiating.
There will be no visitation.
Mrs. Grotelueschen was born May 8, 1939, to Ernest and Frieda (Klawonn) Allacher at Herndon, Kan.
She married Donald Grotelueschen on July 19, 1959, at Herndon.
She moved to Longmont from Columbus in 1984. She was a work coordinator for US Bank in Longmont for 19 years.
She enjoyed reading books and playing bingo.
Survivors include a son, Deron (Annette) Grotelueschen of Greeley, Colo.; a daughter, Danette (Richard) Wilson of Kansas City, Mo.; three brothers, Duane Allacher of Aurora, Colo., Dennis (Fran) Allacher of McCook and Dale (Alice) Allacher of Herndon Kan.; two sisters, Deanna Allacher of McCook and Doris (Robert) Schanel of Stockton, Kan.; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and two brothers, David Allacher and Donald Allacher.
Ahlberg Funeral Chapel and Crematory in Longmont is in charge of arrangements.
