LONGMONT - Edna Mae Muhle, 73, of Longmont, Colo., died Thursday, Oct. 9, 2003.
Services were Oct. 13 at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel, with burial at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
Mrs. Muhle was born in Durango, Colo., on April 20, 1930, to Frederick and Dicie (Widner) Varner. She graduated from Delta High School in 1948, and worked for the school system.
On June 29, 1951, she married Kenneth Muhle of Columbus in Delta, Colo.
She was a homemaker, a scout assistant, and volunteered with the schools. She enjoyed bowling, sports, gardening and quilting.
Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Jody (Ray) of Longmont; and one son, Richard Muhle of Longmont.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Barbara Hendricks, Annis Anderson and Shirley Shiflet; and one granddaughter.
