Services for Lena Lusche, 89, of Columbus, are at 2 p.m. Friday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Columbus, with Rev. Walter Rowoldt officiatin
Mrs. Lusche was born April 20, 1896, at Columbus, the daughter of Jacob and Anna Naria Grunder Schwank. She attended District 10 school in Platte County and married Edward F. Lusche June 4, 1918, at the German Reformed Church.
Mrs. Lusche was a lifetime resident of Platte County, with the exception of seven months when she lived in Phoenix, Ariz. She was employed by J.C. Penney's for 11 years. Mrs. Lusche was president and treasurer of the Ladies Aid for many years. She taught Sunday School and was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church. Mrs. Lusche was also a member of the Heritage House Sextet Singing Group.
Mrs. Lusche died Wednesday at Columbus Manor.
Surviving are three sons, LaVern, Norris and Wesley.
